Hi, I'm Melissa Barronton.

Seed + Soul Wellness is where I'm sharing the things I've learned that have made the biggest difference for myself, my family, and my clients. 

I started my wellness journey more than a decade ago...  

I had battled acne for years, weight gain, and chronic bowel problems.  I would get irritable for no reason and would worry and anxious about everything all the time.  I thought all these things were just the way things were.

Fortunately I met a Naturopath who helped me to understand the impact that toxins (chemical, metal, & radiation) and immune challenges (viruses, bacteria, mold, fungus, yeast, and parasites) have on our bodies and the steps I could take to get rid of them and support myself both physically and emotionally, naturally.  I decided to study to become a health and wellness coach, a functional nutrition coach, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Practitioner, as well as learn Muscle Response Testing and Energy Testing. At Seed + Soul Wellness my goal is to educate and inspire you to take control of your health and question everything you have always been told. I'm so glad you are here!

10 Things I Did That Improved My Health

My mom suffered from a chronic cough for which she was treated with long term steriods.  She also suffered from depression.  If I had known then what I know now, I would have tested her for mold exposure and am confident that with the right nutritional cleansing and support, her cough and her depression could have been greatly reduced if not completely eliminated.

When my daughter was young she suffered from chronic sinus infections, eczema, and allergies and had her tonsils and adenoids removed at the age of 5. If I had known then what I know now, we would have eliminated dairy from her diet as well as bread and other processed inflammatory foods that irritate eczema suffers.  

As an adult, especially after she became pregnant, her eczema only got worse. She made drastic changes to make sure her diet was as clean as it could be, she got rid of the parasites plaging her body, and she supported her gut health with probiotics (since her gut was likely destroyed as a result of all the antibiotics she took as a child), and added additional supplements for support.  However, because of her journey and her struggle, she is very conscious and aware of what her children are eating and avoiding to support their health and wellbeing.
